			Interview from MTV Europe live January,15 Enrique was today on MTV Europe live in the studio. I am posting you the whole interview: First they played Bailamos Neil: That was Enrique Iglesias and he is sitting next to me now! (screaming). Enrique: Hello! Neil: This is amazing moment on TV because we never met before. Enrique: I know Neil: We´we been in the bussiness for years but this never happend Enrique: You´ve been in the bussiness not me (laugh) Neil: You would´t not believe how excited have everyone been today. Enrique: Yeah, we have an audience here. Neil: And all are females... Enrique: Yes, females. Neil: A most of them came with you. This is so much exciting on MTV today and in the UK, look those females and waves are coming watching on you. It´s a pleasure to meet you. Enrique: Thank you so much. Neil: I was listening to your new album, which from is "Hero" - we are gonna to see it in a minute, and it´s real surprise, it´s a lot of new directions in it. Enrique: You know, there´s one thing I don´t want to do on my albums, I don´t want to do part 2 of Bailamos or Be With You. I want to be complete different. I don´t know if it´s my best album, but it is the album I enjoyed listening to the most. Neil: Really? Enrique: Yeah, I mean from my albums. You know, sometimes when you finished the album and you are listening to a lot, by the 10th time I go, please no more... Neil: What kind of music do you listen to? Enrique: I listen to anything. From hip hop to classical, to anything. I love music. Neil: You have come here to talk to us, it´s very exciting for you because it´s grammy time and you have won a grammy in 1996 and I was reading in a paper that your father often bit down on you like saying you never win anything. Enrique: You know what happened, it was not bad, because it made give me even more, but you never know in the musical bussines, it´s such a hard bussines, so many singers are there. Imagine, you want to make a record and there are so many record companies, only one person say "I want your record come on." Neil: We gonna watch "Hero", your current new video, which is fantastic, with movie stars. Enrique: Like a movie Neil: Yeah, let´s watch it now and we´ll be talking a little bit after, ok? Enrique: Yes, sir! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hero" is playing Neil: Such emotional experience watching up the video! Enrique: Yes, it was amazing to make the video, it was very strange video, we had a lot of problems, unfortunately the out director of the video crasched in the car and she past away. That completely doing a lot with everybody... There was 150 degrees, a lot of people getting sick. It was one of those videos where I can say "nothing gonna get right". And suddenly becomes deffinitely the most special. Jennifer Love Hewit and Mickey Rourke make it good. Neil: It´s kind of emotions and kind of a hard work. It´s gonna have to mean something in the end. I used to be a massive fan of Mickey Rourke. How did you get him? Enrique: I called him and asked if he wants to be in my video and he said yes. You know, what was funny" I knew he is very respected but not SO respected. Everybody knows he is a great actor. He is amazing. In the fight scene I was very scared because he really get in to the character. Neil: He is a boxer, so he did actually hit you Enrique: Yeah, you see my face in the video, I´m very scared. Neil: You have done Rodriguez movie which sounds fantastic. It´s called "Once upon a time in the Mexico". Enrique: Yeah, it´s a small role, Mickey is in it too and just cool actors - Johnny Depp, Antonio Banderas and more. I am a big Rodriguez fan. Neil: Is it like another goods which Leony did "Once upon a time in America", "Once upon a time in the West". Is it that kind of film? Enrique: Yes! How do you know that? Neil: I´m a big film fan. When comes the film to the cinemas? Enrique: This year, I don´t know exactly, but this year. Neil: Talking about your next single, which is called Enrique: Escape Neil: We did hear that it´s with Ana Kournikova. Enrique: We were talking about who would be something different. At the begin I was gonna show the video just myself and I always say, maybe should I put a love interest.. Neil: (laugh) Hmmm... Who could I have... Enrique: It was actually the record company my management they came up with it, and I said that was brilliant because it´s something so different - from sport world. We shut it during Christmas the 24th and 25th December. It was a fun. She´s blessed. The funny thing was that somebody said I didn´t want to kiss her on the set or something like that. Neil: It´s that true? Enrique: No comment. That´s stupid. Neil: Exactly Enrique: We´re gonna watch "Be With You" now and then we´ll come back. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enrique: It´s fun to see these videos. I haven´t seen them for a long time. There are my best friends. That one - oh, unfortunately not. (laugh) Neil: She is my best friend. OK, we are still here with Enrique Iglesias and mostly as I say with women. Enrique: And men. I see a few men. I see one back there - actually I think he is a man. She is a man. Neil: I can´t say from here. It´s a long way to the other side of the studio... Enrique: Beautiful women are working on MTV, you´re lucky men! (screaming) Neil: What´s next to do Enrique? Will you be touring over here? Enrique: Yeah, I´m gonna be doing a tour in March in the US and hopefully in May here in Europe. Neil: Anymore acting plans? Enrique: Not really, I´m concetrating manly on the album right now. Neil: We talked about the song you would like to choose from our playlist. What did you choosed? Enrique: Wyclef Jean! I love Wyclef. I was with him a few weeks ago, he is a nice guy. He is so talented, he is different, originall, which is cool. Neil: Can you imagine to work with him? Enrique: We talked about it, we talk about doing a remix. Neil: Mariah Carey an Jennifer Lopez was asked to do an act together for a Grammy. If you would ask to do an act with Ricky Martin would you do that? Enrique: I´m a big Ricky fan, yeah. Ricky is great, he is my neighbour in Miami. Neil: Ok, here is Wyclef and we´ll say good by after his video. Neil: It´s a beautiful song, choosing by Enrique. Thanks for coming Enrique. Enrique: Thanks so much, thanks for invitation.
