Enrique was in Rome recently to shoot the first of a few Pepsi commercials to be filmed over the next year. Joining him for the shoot were Britney Spears, Beyonce, and Pink. According to brianmay.com, the three female singers are to sing the Queen classic, We Will Rock You, for the commercial, and Enrique will not be singing, but playing an emperor.

 Finally, Enrique is coming back with new  single “ADDICTED” wich will be out in the beginning of November and new album “7” ( release date is November,25).

Also, Enrique wrapped filming for the video for his first single from 7, "Addicted," last week in Los Angeles. The steamy video features Mischa Barton from Fox's new show "The O.C."The director of the video is Peter Berg. According to a report in today's edition of El Nuevo Dia, the video for Addicted could debut as soon as next Monday, October 20.

Grammy-winning Latin singing sensation Enrique Iglesias has beaten the likes of US pop star Justin Timberlake and singer-actress Jennifer Lopez to emerge as the new face of Pepsi.

As per the lucrative deal worth 80 million dollars, Enrique will now feature in a series of worldwide commercials.

"I am excited to join forces with Pepsi, which will give me another avenue to bring my music to my fans," ratethemusic.com quoted him as saying.

Pepsi will now sponsor Enrique's upcoming World Tour.

A spokesperson for Pepsi said, "Enrique is perfect for us. He's one of the biggest stars around at the moment, and that is why he has been chosen to represent the brand on a global level. He joins an impressive stable of people including Ms Dynamite, Beyonce Knowles and Robbie Williams who are all part of the Pepsi family."

Enrique delighted the crowd last weekend in Anaheim, CA, when he performed at the Reventon Super Estrella concert at Arrowhead Pond. He hit the stage without the much speculated-about mole, and with only half of EnriquezBand. According to fans at the show, Tony, Brett, Laura, Jenny, and perhaps Van joined Enrique. Enrique Iglesias says he's "practicing," not marrying kind MEXICO CITY (AFP) - Pop star Enrique Iglesias denied he and tennis glam girl Anna Kournikova (news - web sites) had tied the knot, and the Spanish singer said he might marry later in life but for now was "just practicing," Reforma reported. "I am not planning on getting married yet. I think I will when I am 35 or 40, but I could not say that I will for certain," Iglesias, 28, told the Mexican daily by phone from Miami. Enrique's new single is already on the market, while the new video that goes with it will be released in the next few days. The song entitled "Para que la vida" was written by Enrique together with Lester Méndez and Rafael Pérez Botija. The video for the song, which develops around/takes place on a television program, was directed by Colombian Simon Brand. "He wants the song he has written for a woman to reach her," said Brand."She is at a train station, ready to board the train, when she sees on a TV monitor [the program] on which Enrique is performing the song." El Nuevo Dia (San Juan, Puerto Rico)

Enrique is in Miami working on his next album. He's working with the same musicians and friends/colleagues he's worked with on his previous productions. His new project will likely be available by the end of the year.
There will be a third single from 'Quizas', either Pienso en ti or Para que la vida, and the third single will most likely have a video to go with it, which will be filmed shortly.
Enrique doesn't have any promotional visits planned for the first few months of the year, but he does have some TV programs in the U.S. planned to promote his next song.
It is hoped that Enrique's and Lionel Richie's schedules will coincide sometime this month so they can film a video for To Love a Woman, which will be promoted only in Europe.
New tours date will depend upon when Enrique's new album comes out.

There's finally been another release date set for Enrique's upcoming new movie "Once Upon A Time in Mexico". According to Coming Soon Movies, the release date is now set for September 12, 2003.

According EI Music, Enrique is currently having a nice rest like he deserves for all the work he put in last year. Not only that, currently Enrique is enjoying his time away by writing new songs and new material for an upcoming new album as he promised in interviews at the end of last year. No word yet when this new album will be released. When we asked on his upcoming schedule of events, we were told that the months of January, February and March have nothing planned on them for now except for Enrique writing new songs. So far, there is no word yet on a third single and new video planned from Enrique's new Spanish album "Quizas".

Sky News reports Enrique Iglesias has signed a deal with a top Hollywood studio and they plan to remake the classic teen movie 'The Golden Disc', which makes a star out of a music-mad teenager. Shooting for the film is supposed to start in April. source: Popdirt.com
